and hence Instagram accounts should be of different types depending on the needs.

What is Instagram Personal Account?
This type of account is provided to all Instagram users who start using this social media platform for the first time. You can say that this account is provided to all Instagram users by default. Therefore, when a user registers himself on Instagram for the first time, he automatically gets a personal account.
This is perfect for Instagram users who just want to stay connected with their friends and family or are looking for some kind of inspirational content. These users share photos or videos related to their everyday life in the form of stories or posts. They do not need to make their Instagram account a brand. So, the personal account is only suitable for an average use.
Some features are not available in personal account which are available in Business and Creator account. For example personal account does not get Analytics or any kind of API access. This means you can’t do any scheduled posting or use Facebook Creator Studio.
Also, you cannot even put a contact button on your profile in your Instagram personal account. So, if you are a business owner then this type of Instagram account is not beneficial for you at all.
But despite these drawbacks, there are some benefits of personal account as well. Like you can keep Personal Account private. This means only your followers can see the content you share. If a user wants to see your content, then you approve it and he becomes your follower. Only after he can see your content.
You can access all the music options for Reels and Stories in your Personal Account. Earlier, the Swipe up option was not available in Instagram Personal Account and it was only for some verified accounts or those with more than 10 thousand followers.
In October 2021, Instagram launched Link Sticker instead of Swipe up option. This feature also works just like Swipe up. The important thing about Link Sticker is that now this feature can be used in Instagram personal account also.
